Dangerous crawling…

October 31, 2025

Sir,

On the morning of Oct. 26, I was shocked to witness two men dangerously crawling on a hoarding along JLB Road, attempting to cover it with a black canvas. They were risking their lives merely to earn daily wages.

The advertiser or agency responsible for this billboard appeared to have shown complete disregard for the safety of its workers.

There were no safety belts, harnesses or any precautionary measures in place. A simple use of a crane could have ensured the task was carried out safely and efficiently.

It is deeply disturbing that even today, human life is treated with such callous indifference in the relentless pursuit of profit.
