Special lecture tomorrow

The Indian Institute of Educational Theatre (IIET), Mysuru, has organised a special lecture titled ‘Kannada’s Contribution to Shaping Indian Theatre’ on Nov. 5 at 6 pm at Hardwicke School Campus, JLB Road, Mysuru. [Mob: 94488-71815]. The lecture will be delivered by Ravindra Tripathi, a renowned critic from Delhi, known for his deep insights into Indian theatre and cultural studies.

The session will highlight the remarkable contributions of eminent Kannada personalities such as Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay, Adya Rangacharya, B.V. Karanth, M.S. Sathyu, Girish Karnad and others who have enriched and influenced the broader canvas of Indian theatre.  The lecture, which will be conducted in English, will be moderated by veteran theatre director Prasanna, adding further depth to the discussion.
