Mysore/Mysuru: A six-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Intelligent Automation: Leveraging Robotics, AI, and IoT for Industry 4.0” under the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Programme 2025-26, organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru, began today. It will conclude on Nov.15.

The FDP aims to empower academicians, researchers and students by providing a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration in advancing the role of Intelligent Automation in Industry 4.0.

Dr. Venkatesh Gudipadu, Associate Professor, NIT Warangal, was the chief guest at the inaugural event held in the presence of Dr. A. N. Santosh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, JSS STU and others.

The programme will feature expert-led sessions on cutting-edge topics such as Motion Planning for Mobile Robots, Robot Path Planning, and Multipurpose Autonomous Navigation Robots.
