Co-operation Week from tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: The District Co-operative Union has organised Co-operation Week from Nov.14 to 20 in the city and 5 other Taluk Headquarters of the district.

Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Union Vice-President B.N. Sadananda said that the Week is being celebrated with the theme ‘Co-operative Institutions as mechanisms in the making of Atmanirbhar Bharat.’

H.D. Kote MLA Anil Chikkamadu, who is also JLR Chairman, will inaugurate the Week at a programme to take place at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar  Samudaya Bhavan at H.D. Kote town at 10 am on Nov.14.

Sadananda said that the Week will be celebrated at Nanjangud’s Ambedkar Bhavan on Nov. 15; at MyMUL Office premises in T. Narasipur town on Nov.16; at SRM Kalyana Mantapa in K.R. Nagar town on Nov.17; at Hosatti Samudaya Bhavan in Kittur of Periyapatna taluk on Nov.18 and at Muneshwara Kaval Grounds in Hunsur on Nov.19.

The MLA of the respective taluks will inaugurate the event. MyMUL President Eeregowda, B.V. Gururaj, Siddegowda and Umashankar were present.
