Pedestrian injured in accident succumbs at hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: A man, who had sustained injuries when a bike hit him when he was walking on the road side and admitted to K.R. Hospital in city has succumbed to injuries at the hospital on Nov. 15.

The deceased is Balaji alias Krishnappa (51), a resident of Chinnahalli Bore village in Srirangapatna taluk.

On Nov. 14, Balaji had come to Duddagere village in Mysuru taluk to harvest sugarcane. When he was walking on the side of Duddagere-Lakshmipura Road, a bike (KA-55-EC-8112) hit him from behind resulting in him sustaining injuries.

He was later admitted to K.R. Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries on Nov. 15. 

Deceased Balaji’s daughter Sarala in her complaint has blamed the two-wheeler rider of rash and negligent riding which resulted in her father’s death.

Based on the complaint, Varuna Police who have registered a case are investigating.
