Mysuru:  Mysore District Athletic Association (MDAA) in association with Department of  Youth Empowerment and Sports, Mysuru, is conducting ASMITA Track and Field Athletics League 2025-26 only for girls under-14 and 16 years, at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Nazarbad, here on Nov.30 (Sunday) from 9 am.

The Athletic Federation of India and Sports Authority of India were jointly conducting the ASMITA Athletic League, a women-focused athletics initiative in 300 districts across 26 States of India. Among 300 districts,  Mysuru is one of the host districts.

The main objective of this League is ‘Girls Talent Identification.’  Sports  Authority of India (SAI) will send qualified level-1 and level-2 expert athletic coaches to this competition for scouting talents and identify the talented  athletes based on their skills. The shortlisted athletes will be inducted  into various                                                       schemes of SAI.

Girls U-14 and U-16 events are as follows:

Triathlon-A: 60m, Long Jump, High Jump 60m, 600 m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shotput, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw. 

Triathlon-B: 60m, Long Jump, Shot Put.

Triathlon-C: 60m, Long Jump, 600m. 

Kids Javelin.

Girls U-14 must be born between 21.12.2011 and 20.10.2013; Girls U-16 between 21.12.2009 and 20.12.2011. Online registration can be done via www.sfwkheloindia.gov.in  and offline registration at Perform Sports,  Kantharaj Urs Road, K.G. Koppal or contact Mob: 99453-55650.
