Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Kone-Modalu,’ authored by Sujaya Suresh, will be launched at an event to be held on Nov. 30 at 5 pm at the Institution of Engineers on JLB Road.

The book release programme is organised jointly by the District Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Kannada Sahitya Kalakoota, Spandana Cultural Parishat and Kadamba Kalapeetha.

Dr. Sharath Chandraswamy, President of Sri Kunduru Mutt, Mysuru, will release the book. District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal will preside.  Prof. Morabada Mallikarjuna Swamy, Director of the Publication Division, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, will speak about the book. T. Satish Jawaregowda, President of Spandana Cultural Parishat, will welcome.

Kannada Sahitya Kalakoota President M. Chandrashekhar will present the introductory remarks. On the occasion, journalist Amshi Prasanna Kumar — this year’s State Kannada Rajyotsava Awardee — will be felicitated.

Kadamba Kalapeetha President B. Vidyasagar Kadamba and author Sujaya Suresh will be present.
