Kolumadanda Machaiah (Girish), a resident of No. 7/2, 5th Main, 5th Cross at Kalyanagiri, passed away yesterday in city. He was 64.

A native of Arvadokka (Aruvathokulu) village in Madikeri taluk of Kodagu district, he leaves behind his wife Saroja (Nerpanda), sons Kushalappa and Palangappa and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon, according to family sources.
