Mysuru: Disha Diwakar, a student of Ideal Jawa Rotary School, won the silver medal in the 200 mts sprint in the U-14 girls category at the State-level Sports and Games Competitions for School Children organised by Department of School Education at District Stadium in Hassan recently.

Disha finished the race in 27:00 sec and has been selected for national-level. She is the daughter of M.N. Diwakar and Chandrakala couple. She is training under athletic coach Sampath Kumar.
