Mysore/Mysuru: Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana (BJS), Mysuru Wing conducted Joint / Knee Screening Camp at Kuntunath Jain Bhavan in Ittigegud recently. The camp was inaugurated by past Presidents, office-bearers and dignitaries by lighting 11 devotional lamps. 

Dr. Jitendra Choudhary Jain and Dr. Hetal Bagrecha Jain screened over 180 patients and some of them were identified for immediate surgery.

Ladies Wing Vice-Chairperson Santosh Salecha and Secretary Seema Bohra recited Navakar Mahamantra.  BJS Mysuru Vice-President Kushal Palrecha welcomed the gathering.   

Past President Ashok Salecha spoke on BJS activities. General Secretary B.K. Deepak Kumar Jain compered. Vice-President Nemichand Barola proposed a vote of thanks. 

Karnataka State General Secretary Prakash Gulecha, Mysuru Region President Sukhraj Vinayakiya, Past Presidents Prakash Srisrimaal, Vimal Pitliya and Praveen Lunkar, Vice-President Amit Chouhan, Treasurer Manohar Sankhla,  Secretaries Navaratanmal Pitliya, Sunil Patva and Rajendra Desarla felicitated the doctors and the guests.  

As part of ‘Gurudakshina’, BJS Mysuru Chapter recognised and feted teachers and volunteers of Sri Jain Terapant Gnanashala, Sri Sthanakvasi Jain Shikshan Sangh, Sri Sumatinath Jain Sanskaar Vatika and Sri Vasupujya Sanskaar Vatika. Four Gurujis, Sri Nitesh Guruji, Sri Rupesh Guruji, Sri Narendra Guruji and Sri Tarun Guruji were also honoured.
