Hanuma Jayanti tomorrow: City Police take out route march

Mysore/Mysuru: With Hanuma Jayanti being celebrated in city tomorrow, City Police yesterday took out a route march to instil confidence among the public and also to show that they were ready to prevent any untoward incidents from taking place during the celebration.

The Police, led by DCPs R.N. Bindu Mani (Law and Order) and K.S. Sundar Raj (Crime and Traffic), conducted the route march from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the North Gate of Mysore Palace passing via Town Hall, Silver Jubilee Clock Tower, D. Devaraj Urs Road, Narayana Shastri Road, Chamaraja Double Road and culminated at Gun House Circle covering a distance of 5 kilometres.

Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) of all Sub-Divisions, Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors of all Police Stations, Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) battalion and staff numbering about 485 took part in the route march.
