Mysore/Mysuru: Lions District 317G is hosting the Region Meet 7 under the leadership of Ln. H.C. Kanthraj on Dec.14 from 8.30 am onwards at Builders Association of India Auditorium in Vidyaranyapuram.

The theme of the event is ‘Live and Let Live.’  The event promises to bring together Lions and Leos from across the region for a day of fellowship, learning and community service.

The Region Meet will feature inspiring speeches, interactive sessions and workshops focused on specific areas — diabetes awareness, vision care, youth empowerment. District Governor Ln. K.L. Rajashekara, mjf, Ln. Dr. N. Krishnegowda, pmjf, Immediate Past Multiple Chairman and the Vice-District Governors will share their insights and experiences.

Senior Civil Judge K.K. Amarnath will be the chief guest. Noted wildlife photographers Krupakar and Senani, recipients of Green Oscar Award, will be the guest speakers.

District Kannada Rajyotsava awardee Ranganath will be felicitated at the event which also includes cultural performances and exhibitions.

Lions District 317G is part of Lions International, a global service organisation with a mission to empower communities through volunteer service with over 100 Lions Clubs and 3,200 Lion members. Region host Chairman Ln. M. Shivakumar, Ln. T.H. Venkatesh, Ln. K.D. Kariappa, Ln. R.D. Kumar, Ln. R.H. Nagraj and Ln. G.V. Balu will be present, according to Ln. Naveen Subramanyam.
