Graduation Day at VVIET

December 15, 2025

Mysore/Mysuru: Graduation is not the end of learning but only the beginning, said Dilip Krishnaswamy, Director of C-DOT, Bengaluru.

Delivering the Graduation Day address at Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET) here recently, he urged students to embrace lifelong learning, personal growth and the continuous pursuit of excellence as they step into a new chapter of their lives.

Krishnaswamy reminded the graduates that learning extends far beyond the classroom. As they move into their careers or pursue higher education, he encouraged them to keep improving themselves every day. Instead of comparing themselves with others, he advised them to compete with their own past selves, asking whether they have become better individuals than they were yesterday.

He emphasised the importance of following one’s passion, staying adaptable and viewing life’s challenges as opportunities for growth. Enjoying the journey, he said, is as important as reaching the destination.

Addressing concerns about the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), he reassured the students that                       AI is not a threat to their jobs but a tool that can elevate their work.

He encouraged them to become experts in the areas they are truly passionate about and to integrate AI meaningfully into those fields.

M.V. Ritesh Gowda, Chairman of VVET,  highlighted that the years spent at Vidya Vikas had instilled knowledge, resilience and the ability to solve problems creatively.

He urged graduates to use their skills to contribute to national development and stay connected to the institution as responsible alumni.
