T. Narasipur: T. Narasipur Town Police have arrested a youth for allegedly murdering a man who had questioned the youth for being close with his wife.

The arrested accused has been identified as 21-year-old Dheeraj, a resident of Tirumakudalu village and the murdered victim is Vinod Kumar, a resident of Hosa Tirumakudalu village.

On Saturday morning, Dheeraj had brutally assaulted Vinod with lethal weapons at Chowdaiah Circle in Hale Tirumakudalu leading to the death of Vinod. Dheeraj had gone absconding since then and the Town Police had registered a case.

The Cops, who swung into action, arrested Dheeraj yesterday, conducted spot mahazar and seized the murder weapon. The accused was produced before a Court which remanded him to Judicial Custody.

It is learnt that Dheeraj was a distant relative of Vinod and was staying in his house after he had lost his parents. Dheeraj had reportedly developed closeness with Vinod’s wife and when Vinod questioned Dheeraj about it, Dheeraj allegedly murdered Vinod and had gone absconding.
