Inter-school painting contest

In order to promote creativity and to explore  artistic talent among children, the city’s Little Gems School has organised ‘Mubashira Begum Inter-School painting contest’ for school children and PU students at Gems School premises located on old Mysuru-Bengaluru Road, behind Jeelani Petrol Bunk, N.R. Mohalla, at 10 am  on Jan. 17. The competition will be held under different categories — Category 0 – Pre KG, LKG and UKG; Category 1 – 1st, 2nd and 3rd standards (Painting of Transport vehicles); Category 2 – 4th and 5th standards (Traditional Indian dresses – Men & Women); Category 3 – 6th and 7th standards (Tourist spots of Mysuru); Category 4 – 8th, 9th and 10th standards (Historical places of India) and Category 5 – First and Second PUC (Natural History and Arts Museum).
