Mahadeva Kumar (Mahesh), a resident of Karepura village in the taluk, passed away yesterday at the village. He was 48.

He leaves behind his wife Mani, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the village this afternoon, according to family sources.
