H.R. Mahadevu (57), a resident of Hanchya village in the taluk, passed away following a heart attack yesterday.

He leaves behind his wife Savitha, son Dayanand, daughter Hemavathi and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the village this afternoon.
