Mysore/Mysuru: Based on the direction of Karnataka Legal Services Authority, a National Lok Adalat will be held at all Law Courts in the city and district on Mar. 14. This will be the first Lok Adalat in the New Year 2026.

Lok Adalat is one of the alternative dispute redressal mechanisms and is meant for conciliated settlement of disputes outside Courts.

Lok Adalats handle a wide range of cases, including pending Court cases and pre-litigation disputes, civil matters (money recovery, rent, matrimonial, land disputes, contract issues), property requisition, compoundable criminal cases, motor accident claims, labour disputes, Consumer Disputes and Public Utility Bill issues (electricity, water etc.).
