Events are as follows:

At Vedika — 4 pm: Inauguration – Indian Institute for Educational Theatre (IIET) Founder Prasanna will inaugurate the 5-day Festival. Kannada Development Authority Chairman Dr. Purushotham Bilimale main speaker. Former Joint Secretary of Cabinet Secretariat Ravi Joshi and Vid. Anoor R. Ananthakrishna Sharma will be the chief guests. It will be followed by Nadaswara recital by M.G. Shridara and troupe, Melukote; 7 pm to 9 pm: Musical Performance ‘Laya Lavanya’ by Vid. Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma.

VISUAL ART — 10 am to 7 pm: Paytay Beedhi at Uttarayana is a preview of a larger visual arts exhibition, coming soon to JCAC. Start at Chittara and follow the Paytay Beedhi sign across JCAC to discover eight interventions ranging from exhibitions to cross- disciplinary encounters that trace the many ways art has found life in Mysore.
