Mahadeva Nayaka (Devara Guddappa), a resident of Kumbarageri, Lashkar Mohalla, passed away last night. He was 95. He is survived by his wife Gowramma, five sons, three daughters and 18 grandchildren.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this noon, according to family sources.
