Mysore/Mysuru: Abhivruddhi will present Silk India-2026, a grand display and sale of exquisite silk, cotton and handloom sarees at Nanjaraja Bahaddur Choultry, Vinobha Road, Mysuru from Jan. 30 to Feb. 8. The 10-day expo will be open for visitors from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm.
India is the number one producer of silk in the world, for which there is a huge demand in national and international markets. Varieties of silk are reared based on climatic and geographic conditions, of which the four prominent ones are Tussar, Eri, Mulberry and Muga.
Tussar and Muga are wild varieties of silk cultivated by silk worms fed on organically grown trees. Bihar, Assam and Chhattisgarh are the States where Tussar and Muga are produced.

Arini silk sarees, Crepe and Georgette silk sarees, Chiffon silk sarees, Tussar silk sarees and suits, Kanjeevaram silk sarees and Wedding sarees, Designer fancy sarees, Darmavaram silk sarees, Raw silk and Tussar, Jute silk sarees, Dhaka silk sarees, Handloom silk cotton sarees, Silk blends sarees & stole, Silk shawls, Uppada, Gadwal, Paithani sarees, Mangalagiri and Pochampalli silk sarees and many more products will be available in this expo.
Hand-woven Matka and Assam Muga Fabrics, Apoorva silk sarees, Baluchari, Dhaka Masli, Gicha sarees, Boutique sarees, Kantha sarees, Zordoshi, Lucknow Chikan Work sarees, Bhagalpur suits, Printed silk sarees, Banarasi sarees, Reshmi plain and Butti sarees, Maheswari, Chanderi silk, Kota silk, Mulberry silk with temple border, Banaras Jamdani and Hand-woven sarees will be on display.
