Manjira Mahotsava: Annual Cultural Festival from Feb. 2

Mysore/Mysuru: Shree Nataraja Performing Arts Centre (SNPAC), Mysuru, headed by Vidu. Nagashree Phaneendrakumar, has organised a three-day Annual Cultural Festival, titled ‘Manjira Mahotsava-2026,’ at Ganabharathi’s Ramagovinda Kalavedike in Kuvempunagar, Mysuru, from Feb. 2 to 4.

Feb. 2 – 5.45 pm: Prof. Nagesh V. Bettakote, Vice-Chancellor, KSGH Music & Performing Arts University, will inaugurate the Festival. H.R. Bhagavan, Secretary, Hari Vidayala and Mahathi Vijayprakash, Creative Director, VP Culture Club and Partner at Dvaar Music, will be the chief guests. Noted danseuse Dr. Kripa Phadke, Founder-Director of Nrityagiri Academy of Performing Arts and Research Centre, Mysuru and M.K. Balaraju, President, SNPAC, will preside; 6 pm: Bharatanatyam by Vid. Dr. T.S. Sagar, Tumakuru; 7.30 pm to 9 pm: Mohiniyattam by Kalamandalam Suchithra Anil, Mysuru.

Feb. 3 – 6 pm: Bharatanatyam by Vid. Sujay Shanbhag, Hubballi and his disciples; 7.30 pm to 9 pm: Bharatanatyam by Vidu. Kavya Kasinathan, disciple of Natyacharya Mithun Shyam, Bengaluru.

Feb. 4 – 6 pm: Bharatanatyam by Svarita Ensemble (Nikhitha Manjunath, VKS Madhumitha and Viyaneeta Ramesh), disciples of Dr. Sathyanarayana Raju, Bengaluru; 7.30 pm to 9 pm: Bharatanatyam by Vidu. K.N. Navyashree, disciple of P. Praveen Kumar, Bengaluru.
