Mysore/Mysuru: The Rotary Youth Leadership Academy recently organised a two-day leadership workshop at Vijnana Bhavan, University of Mysore. The event was hosted by Rotary Panchasheel Mysuru Club.
The workshop aimed to nurture future leadership qualities among youths. It provided comprehensive training on community service awareness, project planning and life-saving skills. A key highlight of the workshop was hands-on training in life-saving emergency care through CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
The event was formally inaugurated by District Governor DGR Rtn. P.K. Ramakrishna by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Distinguished guests included DGN Rtn. Yashaswi S. Somashekar, Rtn. K.V. Mohan Kumar, Director of Rotary Leadership Institute, PHF Rtn. Dr. N.R. Anup, PHF Rtn. Mohan Gurumoorthy, Hon. Secretary of the host Club, RYLA Chairman and MPHF Rtn. N.S. Anand, Programme Chairman.
University students actively participated in the training camp and gained valuable guidance on leadership, social responsibility and the spirit of service.
