Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan (left) won the Australian Open 2026 women’s title defeating world number one Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne yesterday to win her second Grand Slam title. Seeded fifth in the tournament, Rybakina held her nerve despite losing the second set and came back strongly to emerge as the winner.
