JSS Public School holds 31st Annual Day

Mysore/Mysuru: JSS Public School, JP Nagar, Mysuru, celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm recently.

K.R. Santhanam, retired IAS Officer and Director of Accounts and Audit, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru; Uday Kumar, Deputy Director of Public Instruction, Mysuru; D.R. Amith, Reader, College of Teacher Education, Vasanth Mahal, Mysuru; Ashok Palya, Deputy Director, Public School Division, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru; Malangi Suresh, Vice-President, Karnataka State Government Employees Division, Bengaluru and K. Suresh, Assistant Deputy Coordinator, DDPI Office, Mysuru, were present.

School’s faculty S. Rajeshwari welcomed. Principal S.N. Archana presented the annual report.

Sujatha, Coordinator of Co- Curricular Activities, presented a comprehensive overview of the school’s CCA activities. The Annual Day culminated in a prize distribution ceremony, where awards were presented to academic achievers, sports champions and winners of CCA competitions.

 Uday Kumar, Deputy Director of Public Instruction, appreciated the school for its consistent milestones and opportunities.

 D.R. Amith highlighted the vital role of parents in a child’s development and stressed the need for a balance between discipline and affection.

Ashok Palya appreciated the school team and emphasised the importance of guiding students toward the right courses, learning pathways and career opportunities.

 K.R. Santhanam said modern education should encourage self-expression along with academic learning.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Grade 10 student Chaithanya Mahesh.

The formal function was followed by a vibrant cultural programme, with impressive performances by students from LKG to Grade 10, showcasing their talents and creativity, making the event a memorable one.
