Shivadeepotsava contests on Feb.8

As part of ‘Shivadeepotsava’ programme marking Shivarathri festival, the city’s Negilayogi Samaja Seva Trust, in association with K.G. Koppal Maruleshwara Temple Dharmadarshi Trust and Negilayogi Mahileyara Hitaishigala Seva Balaga, is organising Rangageethe and Samooha Bhaktigeethe (mass singing) contests at 10 am on Feb. 8. The contests will be held under different age categories — below 10 years, 11 to 15 years, 16 to 24 years and above 24 years. The winners of the contests will be given prizes during Shivarathri festival stage programme to take place on Feb.15.
