Kechettira Appaiah (Ajju), son of late Nanjappa and a resident of Sathagalli Second Stage here, passed away here yesterday. He was 81.

A native of Begur, he leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. His wife Bojamma (Changanda) had                                          predeceased him.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here this afternoon.
