Mysuru: Palaniyamma (80), wife of late Sundaram Chettiyar and a resident of Vidyaranyapuram, passed away yesterday in city.

She leaves behind her son Varadaraj (trader at Bandipalya), three daughters, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
