Mysore/Mysuru: A special Sugama Sangeetha (Light Music) programme titled ‘Mareyalagada Mahaneeyaru’ (Unforgettable Legends) has been organised under the joint auspices of the Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishat, Mysuru Chapter and Sri Anantheshwara Trust, at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road in city on Feb. 24 at 5 pm.

The programme will be inaugurated by Dr. P. Shivaraju, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru. Dr. M.D. Sudarshan, Assistant Director of the Department of Kannada and Culture and Amshi Prasanna Kumar, Senior Journalist, will be the chief guests.

The musical evening will be led by renowned singer Nithin Rajaram Shastry. Singers Divya Sachidananda, Dr. Sridevi Kulenur, Amrutha Nithin Shastri, Rythwik C. Raj and G.R. Sreekara will perform. V. Keerthana will host the event.

Accompanying the singers will be Purushotham (keyboard), Bheemashankar Bidanur (tabla), Balasubramanya (flute) and H.P. Sujayendra (rhythm pad).
