Harmony Community Feast hosted for city civic warriors

Mysore/Mysuru: A Harmony Community Feast (Saha Pankthi Bhojana), organised by Mohammed Musheer, a member of the College Development Council (CDC) of the Government Girls’ Pre-University College, was held in city recently in which local leaders dined along with civic warriors.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Musheer said, “Since the day of my appointment, I have been working for the all-round development of this college. Last week, a cleanliness drive was held in the College premises and the Pourakarmikas have been working hard with us. In this context, under the guidance of MLA Tanveer Sait, we have organised this community feast to dine with them. Ward and Constituency leaders participated and supported us.”

 Syed Iqbal, President of Azeez Sait Block Congress Committee stated, “Mohammed Musheer has been working for the College’s development since his appointment. It is a welcome move that he has organised a harmony feast specifically for the civic warriors. This cleanliness drive is a preamble to making our Mysuru city the cleanest in the country once again.”

C.R. Rachaiah, President of Pourakarmika Association, remarked, “It is a matter of joy that along with providing quality education, cleanliness is also being maintained at the Rajivnagar Government Girls’ PU College. Our co-operation will always be there for the cleanliness activities of the college.” Lecturer Jameer Ahmed Khan, Congress leader Afroz Khan, Majid Ahmed, Haroon, Rafi, Syed Arif, Ghafoor Azad and others were present.
