Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. P. Boregowda (73), former Commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), who had also served as CESC Managing Director, passed away this morning in city.

A resident of Anikethana Road in Kuvempunagar, Dr. Boregowda was serving as a Consultant – Liaisoning and CSR, Health Care Global Enterprises Ltd. (HCG), Bengaluru, he leaves behind two sons and a host of relatives and friends.

His wife K.P. Prabha predeceased him four months ago.

Last rites were held at his native place Kethupura in Bannur hobli this evening, according to family sources.
