22 grams gold jewellery, Rs. 2.28 lakh recovered
Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru District Police have arrested two house burglars, who had burgled a house and have recovered 22 grams gold jewellery and Rs. 2,28,200 cash from them. Those arrested are T.B. Raju and T.D. Abhishek, residents of Tagadur village.
On Feb. 17, one Prema, a resident of Tagadur village, approached Kavalande Police and lodged a complaint stating that on Feb. 16, burglars had broken into her house when she had gone for work and had made away with 22 grams gold jewellery and Rs. 9 lakh cash kept in the house.
The Police, who registered a case, began their investigation, traced the culprits and arrested them. Based on the information provided by the two accused, the Police recovered the stolen gold jewellery and Rs. 2,28,200 of the stolen Rs. 9 lakh cash from them.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Mallikarjun Baladandi, Additional SPs C. Mallik and L. Nagesh and Dy.SP G.S. Raghu guided Biligere Circle Inspector Y.S. Chandrashekar, In-Charge Biligere Inspector Anand, Kavalande Sub-Inspector Basavaraju and staff in the nabbing and recovery operation.
