Cyber Security Awareness Session held for Rotarians

Mysore/Mysuru: Police Inspector C. Nandeesh Kumar from the Cyber Crime Police Station, Mysuru, addressed Rotarians at a joint meeting of seven Rotary Clubs in city recently.

The session focused on cyber security awareness and responsible digital practices.

Inspector Nandeesh highlighted the growing importance of cyber vigilance in everyday life. Through real-life case studies and relatable cases, he explained common cyber threats and shared best practices to ensure safe digital engagement.

The programme was hosted by Rotary Mysore Midtown, with active participation from members of six other Rotary Clubs in Mysuru.

Rtn. Rakesh Babu, President of Rotary Midtown, welcomed. Rtn. Bharath, Hon. Secretary, introduced the speaker. Rtn. Somesh, President of Rotary Panchsheel, proposed the vote of thanks. The event reinforced the importance of cyber awareness in today’s digitally connected world and encouraged members to adopt safe online practices.
