Mysore/Mysuru: Screening of short films ‘Mandala’ and ‘I See You’ directed by Mysureans  Rishi Raman and Minchu Joshi, respectively will be screened at DRC Cinemas on Mar. 15 between 11 am and 12 noon.

The screening will be done under a unique format BY/2 SHORT FILMS where two short films will be screened in one single screen. Both the short films have already generated considerable curiosity among local cinema audiences.

Entry will be based on first-come-first-serve basis.

About the short films

Rishi Raman’s Mandala, shot in Berlin, is a visually striking psychedelic thriller that dives into fractured realities and psychological tension. 

Meanwhile, Minchu Joshi’s I See You, shot in Mumbai and Bengaluru, is a sensitive coming-of-age drama that explores vulnerability, emotional connection and the subtle moments in which people feel truly seen.

Together, the films highlight the creative range of two emerging filmmakers who are increasingly gaining attention for their independent work.

Both Raman and Joshi represent a new generation of creators from Mysuru and Bengaluru who are taking on multiple roles — writing, directing, acting and producing their own films — to bring original stories to life outside the traditional studio system.
