Girl’s cash, gold worth over Rs. 1.30 lakh stolen in city bus

Mysore/Mysuru: A girl travelling in a KSRTC city bus has lost her cash and gold jewellery worth over Rs. 1.30 lakh.

On Feb. 23, the girl, an office admin at a private company in city, wanted to go to her native to take part in village festival and packed her clothes. She also kept 13.14 gram gold earrings, 2.37 gram finger ring and Rs. 2,500 cash in a bag. In the evening, she boarded a bus from Akshay Bhandar to City Bus Stand during which her cash and valuables, all worth Rs.1,32,232 were stolen.

Based on the complaint from the girl, Devaraja Police have registered an FIR on Mar. 14 and are investigating.
