Nominations invited for Padma Awards

The Government of India has invited online nominations and recommendations for the Padma Awards — Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri — to be presented during the 2027 Republic Day celebrations.

Persons with distinguished and exceptional achievements in Art, Literature, Education, Sports, Medicine, Social Work, Science, Engineering, Public Affairs, Civil Service, Trade and Industry and other disciplines may make the submission online via the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal https://awards.gov.in before July  31, 2026. For further information, individuals can visit the Ministry of Home Affairs website https://mha.gov.in or the Padma Awards Portal https://padmaawards.gov.in.
