Dr. Jagjivan Ram Jayanti celebration

The 119th birth anniversary (Jayanti) of Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram will be celebrated by the District Administration, in association with ZP,  MCC, Social Welfare Department and several  Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram Associations, at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road at 11 am on Apr. 5. Earlier on that day, floral tributes will be paid by the District Administration to the statue of Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram at City Railway Station Circle at 9.30 am, following which a grand procession will be taken out from Railway Station Circle to Kalamandira at 10 am, according to a press release.
