Stray dog menace in J.P. Nagar

April 2, 2026

Sir,

I am a senior citizen residing at 7th Cross, 17th Main, E Block, behind Saibaba temple in J.P. Nagar, Mysuru. Of late the stray dog menace is increasing day by day in our road.

They chase the two-wheelers and bark continuously at night time. Senior citizens like me are also facing difficulty.

They damage the seats of the two-wheelers parked in front of the houses. Since this is the vacation time, children play at the street and we the residents also fear to walk in the street.

In the interest of general public, I request the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) authorities to look into the problem and address the same at the earliest.
