Mysore/Mysuru: Indian Premier League (IPL) is back and so is the IPL Fan Park. The cricket fever has already gripped the entire nation with cricket legends, masters and prodigies coming together to exhibit their talent at the 19th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).
The cricket fans in Mysuru, will get an opportunity to witness the IPL matches in a stadium-like environment with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) setting up IPL Fan Parks across 50 cities in the country.
Addressing the mediapersons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan, this morning, BCCI Representative Raghavendra Patnaik, said, “This year, the BCCI will be setting up the Fan Park at JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU) SJCE-campus on Apr. 4 and Apr. 5.
The Fan Park will be open for cricket fans from 2.30 pm on the both days to watch the matches between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians followed by Gujarat Titans Vs Rajasthan Royals tomorrow (Apr. 4) and Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Lucknow Super Giants followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru Vs Chennai Super Kings on Apr. 5.”

A giant 32ft x18ft LED screen has been erected at centre of Fan Park while an additional 16ft x 8ft LED screen has been erected on side. The entry is free and special arrangements have been made for senior citizens and specially-abled audience. The audience will have an opportunity to experience varieties of cuisines and fun games at the venue.
This year, the BCCI will also give away a signed jersey of an IPL team to one of the fans selected through a lucky dip.
