Gold worth lakhs stolen

Mysore/Mysuru: Thieves broke into a house through rear door and made away with gold valuables worth several lakhs of rupees at T.K. Layout in the city recently.

The theft has occurred at the house of one Jayaprakash, when he along with his family members, had reportedly gone out of station after locking the house.

On Mar. 23, Jayaprakash and his family had been to Sringeri and later to Bengaluru, for an eye surgery. They were staying at their relative’s house, when Jayaprakash received a call from his neighbour on Apr. 1, informing him about the back door of his house left ajar.

Panicked Jayaprakash came home in the evening and found the valuables stolen. Saraswathipuram Police have registered a case.
