MBA, M.Tech Graduation Day at VVCE

Mysore/Mysuru: In all, 126 Post-Graduates received their degrees at the second Graduation Day (Part-II) of 2023-25 batch of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) at its campus in Gokulam recently.

Of them, 115 completed MBA degree and 11 M.Tech degree.

In his address, Prof. Raveendra Saradhi Vadlamudy, Campus Head, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Kakinada campus, Andhra Pradesh (AP), said that a graduation ceremony is not merely a celebration of academic success but a significant transition from a structured learning environment to a dynamic and often unpredictable real-world ecosystem. While education in institutions is guided and supported, he noted that success in the professional world depends largely on self-drive, accountability and a strong sense of responsibility.

Highlighting current global trends, he observed that India is witnessing a powerful convergence of technology and entrepreneurship, opening up unprecedented opportunities for management graduates.

Fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics and digital transformation are reshaping industries and creating new career pathways.

However, he cautioned that rapid technological advancement also brings challenges and graduates must learn to balance opportunities with thoughtful decision-making.

Prof. Saradhi also urged students to align their ambitions with the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, emphasising that innovation, entrepreneurship and responsible leadership can significantly contribute to the country’s development.

Earlier, VVCE Principal Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda presented a report on institution’s achievements.  Gundappa Gowda, President, Vidyavardhaka Sangha, B. Shivalingappa, Vice-President; P. Vishwanath, Secretary, Shrishaila Ramannavar, Treasurer and L.J. Sudev, Controller of Examination were present.
