Mysore/Mysuru:  A.M. Keerthana, a student of Flos Carmeli Convent School, won third place  in the Kata under the Black Belt – 13 years category at the Summer Karate Championship – 2026 held at University of Mysore Yoga Hall at Sports Pavilion, here recently.

The event was organised by Okinawa Karate Do Shorinryu Shorin Kai. The award was presented by actor K. Suchendra Prasad. She is trained under Kyoshi S. Sunil Kumar.
