World Book Day celebration tomorrow

The  Department of Public Libraries and Mysuru City Central Library, in association with Baalya Foundation, will celebrate World Book Day (World Book and Copyright Day) and International Women’s Day at the People’s Park Central Library in Nazarbad at 12.30 pm tomorrow (Apr. 23).

The event will feature the launch of a campaign for re-use of unused pages of note books, felicitation to Government employees, who used public libraries for getting employment and also felicitation to best Library employees who are employed on honorarium basis.

Mysuru Regional Commissioner Nitesh Patil will inaugurate the event while former Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes Ramesh Narasaiah will preside, according to a press release.
