1.585-kg ganja seized

Mysore/Mysuru: Yelwal Police have arrested a person who was smuggling ganja in a passenger autorickshaw and have seized 1.585-kg ganja from him.

The accused has been identified as Samiulla, a resident of Shanthinagar in city.

Following a tip off that ganja was being smuggled in a passenger auto, Yelwal Police, who were patrolling their jurisdiction at about 12.15 am on Apr. 27, intercepted the auto (KA-55-A-0829) which was proceeding towards Periyapatna. On inspecting the auto, the Cops found ganja inside, arrested the accused and seized the narcotic substance.

A case has been registered at Yelwal Police Station.
