Mysore/Mysuru: With the UPSC scheduled to conduct the Civil Services (Preliminary) exam-2026 at 12 centres spread across the city on May 24, the City Police have enforced prohibitory orders in 200 mts. radius around all the exam centres on that day as a security measure.

Accordingly, barring the examinees and the exam staff, no other unauthorised person will be allowed entry to the centres. Also carrying of objectionable  articles in the vicinity of the exam centres is strictly banned.

All photocopy shops, internet cafes and browsing centres nearby are ordered to shut  down during exam hours.

The exam centres are:  Maharani’s College of Commerce and Management for Women, Valmiki Road; Maharani’s Science College, JLB Road; Government PU College, M.G. Koppal; Devaraja Govt. PU College for Girls, Devaraja Mohalla; Government Adarsha Vidyalaya, Jockey Quarters; Maharaja PU College for Boys, JLB Road; Maharaja High School, JLB Road; Government PU College, Kuvempunagar; Government PU College for Girls, People’s Park; Government Bifurcated Maharaja PU College, Nazarbad; Government PU College, Vontikoppal and Maharani’s PU College for Girls, N.S. Road.
