Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen Rs. 2.35 lakh from a house in Narasimharaja (NR) Police limits in city.

The theft took place at the house of Mohammed Kaleem, a car dealer on Shivaji Road in N.R. Mohalla.

In his complaint, Kaleem has stated that on May 19, he received a chit amount of Rs. 2.35 lakh which he had kept in the wardrobe at his son’s bedroom. The next day (May 20), he (Kaleem) along with his family members left Mysuru at about 5.45 pm to Bengaluru Airport to see off his brother who was going on a Haj pilgrimage and returned at about 7.30 am the next day.

As he was in need of cash, he opened the wardrobe in his son’s bedroom to take out the cash only to find it missing and immediately lodged a complaint at NR Police Station.

NR Police, who have registered a case are investigating.
