Jagadish Kumar takes charge as new KSRTC Mysuru Urban DC

Mysuru: Senior official Jagadish Kumar took charge as the new Divisional Controller (DC) of KSRTC Mysuru Urban Division here recently.

Speaking at a meeting of KSRTC officials after taking charge, Jagadish Kumar said that measures will be taken for keeping the buses in good condition and to ensure passenger safety.

Stressing on the need for maintaining trips as per schedules, he said that as per a Government order, buses aged over 15 years are to be scrapped. Till then buses should be maintained in proper condition and timely repairs should be undertaken, he noted.

Stating that the Division is expecting addition of more new buses by the end of this month, he said that six new BIS-6 buses have arrived, of which four have been allotted to Nanjangud depot and two to Sathagalli depot.

He also directed the officials  to focus on passenger safety and comfort, as it is the motto  of KSRTC services.
