Nowadays, we find many youngsters, both boys and girls, riding their two-wheelers very rashly on the roads. Especially PU college students who are under 18 and do not possess a driving licence.

Most students studying in PU colleges bring two-wheelers to the colleges, but the college managements do not allow them to park their vehicles inside the campus. Students who come in electric vehicles (EVs), which do not require a driving licence, are allowed to park their vehicles inside the campus.

Parents who come to drop off or pick up their children near these PU colleges face considerable inconvenience in parking their vehicles, as most of the parking spaces are occupied by the two-wheelers of underage college students.

As a result, parents are forced to park their two-wheelers or four-wheelers on the roads, causing inconvenience to other road users.

Some of these underage students ride their bikes rashly around their respective colleges, creating confusion and posing a risk to other road users.

The management and staff of PU colleges should not encourage or allow students who bring their two-wheelers to attend classes.

I request the traffic authorities to take strict action against underage students riding two-wheelers on public roads.
