Mysuru: The Mysore Librarians and Information Scientists Association (MyLISA), in collaboration with the Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore, has organised a day-long workshop on ‘AI for Library Services: Empowering Libraries, Enriching Lives,’ on Aug. 8 at the Department of Studies in Library and Information Science in Manasagangothri campus from 10 am to 4 pm.

The workshop aims to familiarise library and information professionals with the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in modern library services.

The workshop will feature expert sessions by Dr. M.V. Sunil, Assistant Professor, Systems and General Management at SDM-IMD and Dr. Appasaheb Naikal, Head of Nalanda Library and Information Centre, Indian Institute of Management at Kozhikode.

Library professionals, information scientists, faculty, research scholars, students and knowledge managers can participate.
