Mysuru: In a minor reshuffle, the State Government on Tuesday  transferred  eight KAS officers in the backdrop of the ongoing SIR (Special Intensive Revision) of electoral rolls.

P.S. Mahesh, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Special Land Acquisition Officer of Mysuru Development Authority (MDA).

C.R. Kalpashri, who is serving as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Limited (CNNL) at Mysuru, has been appointed as the Registrar of Mandya University. She will also hold concurrent  charge as CAO of CNNL.

This apart, several other KAS officers serving in Chikkamagalur, Dharwad, Kalaburagi and Belagavi districts have been transferred.

The transfers have been effected following a direction from the Election Commission. The transferred officers have been ordered to take charge of the same posts they were holding earlier without any movement order, after the SIR process is completed, according to the order issued by Keshav Prasad,  Under-Secretary of the Department of Public Administration and Reforms.
